We entertained at WaverleyCourt in Portishead for a special birthday of one of the residents there. Originally Michael said he couldn't make it so we invited Julia along as a substitute on tenor sax. Later on Michael discovered he was free to join us so for the first time we played as a quartet! Julia played quite a number of pieces, and when she played Michael was on bass guitar. It all went down very well with Julia in particular receiving a lot of applause and many compliments.
January 2013
That same day we played at a private party in the evening in the home of a member of Cadbury Wind Band (which is where the three of us met). Heather, the hostess, was very pleased with us and we had guests up and dancing.
February 2013
Ian and I performed as a duo this time (Two Dots And A Dash is nothing if not flexible!) and we entertained the Bushacre Penshioners Club in Weston-super-Mare. They enjoyed us and we could see feet tapping, but we couldn't get them up dancing. They did join in with our unique version of 'She'll Be Coming 'Round The Mountain' which you have to listen to and see to fully appreciate!
